Lunch & Dinner
We specialise in lunch serving food from 12 o'clock. We are predominantly a seafood kiosk with fresh IW crab and lobster. We do always have a few tasty veggie or non fishy dishes on our menu. Our daytime menu changes to our signature seafood platters, freshly cooked pizzas and sharing boards.
Wines
We offer a fabulous handpicked range of wines designed for our seafood and seasonal lunches including Aix and Whispering Angel. From light whites, dry Provence rosés through to lighter % bottles so you can sit and relax and enjoy your afternoon and evenings.
Cocktails
Sitting by the sea with the sun shining on the twinkly sea, what’s better than a cocktail or two! We offer a lovely selection of handmade cocktails. Some boozy, some not. We use locally sourced spirits such as our locally made Mermaid Gin.
About Us
The Beach Hut is owned by Emma & Jon Guy who created this little unique spot in 2011 after Emma won the IOW Masterchef. Since then this little gem has gained many awards and accolades along with a loyal following of local and visiting foodies who come for our great food, wine and that outstanding view over Forelands Beach, Bembridge.
Our food
Our food is all about seafood served simply. We add a Mediterranean twist here and there. We love to play with flavours and marinades. Our style is rustic so no fine dining here. It's all about our IW crab and lobster, Bembridge prawns when in season (only March & October), smoked salmon, giant crevettes and big seafood platters.

Please bear in mind our kitchen is small and we cannot guarantee non cross contamination of allergens. We do have a list available at all times for you to read.
