By the sea

Come sit and watch the tide come and go with the sun shimmering on the sea. Watch as the tide comes and goes offering up a sandy and shingle beach perfect for beach combing for driftwood. Or tickling little crabs from the rockpools at low tide.

The Beach

Forelands Beach is a rugged tidal beach, dog friendly all year round.  The café is reached by walking down two fights of steps. The first is concrete, the second is wooden. To the left round the corner is the RNLI lifeboat station, the right is the every present Culver Cliff with it’s iconic monument a the top. Forelands beach has a selection of quirky day beach huts, rockpools at low tide, and our very special Bembridge Ledge with a natural outcrop of rocks which surround the bay and appear at low tide.
